The Experience
Here you will be an active part of the community. This means that you will become part of the residential community and work teams. If you join us, you will support the center with event organizing, cleaning, painting, gardening etc. It's good to know that working here, often you have to have initiative in tasks, managing your own time, and being flexible in taking into consideration priorities and needs of the center.

This was truly one of the best experiences of my life. I had the chance to meet people from all around the world and, of course, our wonderful host. I loved staying in the Center, there's the chance of choosing your tasks based on what you prefer, I enjoyed spending time in the nature, one of my fav tasks was gardening. The atmosphere is something out of this world, I had the best time enjoying some relax and I had the chance to also do some meditation and focus on my needs. Thanks to the free time I had the opportunity to meet a lot of locals, who later became my friends. I will come back asap!

Ilaria was very sweet and respectful in the community. She was very flexible in the tasks and adapted very well to the dynamics of our center. Together with another volunteer, they made a great team and delighted us with their delicious meals. We highly recommend her!

I had a great first experience at the Center. The people were friendly and made me feel welcome. I did feel a bit lonely in the first few days. Most volunteers had come in pairs and I found it difficult to integrate myself. Luckily, a new lone volunteer came a bit later and I was able to have much more fun. The tasks vary from cleaning, doing laundry and cooking/baking, to gardening and helping out at the kombucha brewery. I liked doing the laundry. The hours are flexible and they give you enough independence to decide when to take a break and when to have days off. I highly recommend ❤️

Ilona was an important part of the community, at first she was a little shy until she opened up and was very supportive, explaining the tasks to new volunteers and accompanying them. She was very responsible and flexible with the tasks and we could trust her a lot. We highly recommend her!

It was the best experience so far. Marika and Timo are so kind and welcoming, and the entire team is friendly and warm. We did many activities together, like pizza parties, picnics, and more. The work is varied and offers many learning opportunities. The Finnish people are very nice and speak English well. I highly recommend it !

Balkis was super sweet and fun. We had many nice chats and shared many moments. She worked hard and adapted to all the tasks, knowing how to work as a team and collaborating a lot. She integrated very well into our community and opened her heart to everyone. We miss her and highly recommend her!

As a first-time Worldpacker, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The warm welcome and the friendships I made were unforgettable. 💕 The living and working conditions were great and flexible, offering a good balance of comfort and productivity. The tasks were interesting and fun, and I had lots of time to explore the beautiful surroundings. The location, with its stunning natural beauty, including forests and a nearby beach, made every moment special. ☀️ I truly recommend this experience 100% !!!

Sophia was very kind and sweet and an important part of our community. Very respectful, hard working and always willing to help others. She was very flexible with the tasks she performed and always did a good job. She knew how to work in a team, and also helped us a lot creating content for social media and making videos to spread the word about our center. We missed her a lot when she left. We highly recommend her!

One of the best experiences I have ever had. It is a lovely place to do volunteer work, meet wonderful people, learn lots of new things (not just during the work, also participating in workshops and just talking with different people), and have a lot of fun! The working hours are flexible and manageable by yourself. The jobs are varied, I have been remodeling apartments, painting, cleaning, working with wood, fixing stuff, helping in the kitchen, hosting events, and more. There is a lot of gardening also. My best memories are of the people I met, getting lifetimes friends is priceless.
