The Experience

We live in a small village in a charming beautiful big old 18th century house named Villa des Roses with a tower, congiergerie, orangerie, pigeonnaire, cabin in the woods, a big ecological style garden, vegetable patches and a forest with pathways on 20.000m2 of our own.

We had a wonderful experience with Anouk and her family. From the beginning, they welcomed us into their home and made us feel comfortable and trusted. We enjoyed helping with the house tasks and, most of all, giving love and attention to Bink and Maiske. 🐶🐱❤️ It was also special to know that our presence helped Anouk feel calmer and supported. We are truly grateful for their kindness, trust and hospitality. We leave with beautiful memories and two new friends in Belgium. 🇧🇪 Highly recommended for any Worldpackers traveler! ✨ We will always remember this experience with affection and thanks!!

It was an incredible experience! Anouk and Marteen are a super nice couple, they made me feel very comfortable in the house during my stay. Nina, Chet, and Miles are very polite, intelligent, and easy-going young people. The household chores are very well organized and defined, and they are very flexible regarding schedules. As long as you complete the activities correctly, everything flows very well. It was wonderful to be there, I will miss it. Once again, thank you very much to the Wellens family. 🤩🙏🏻🩵

My experience with Anouk's family was absolutely fantastic! From day one, you feel welcomed and truly at home. Tasks include driving the kids (they are very independent), maintenance, organizing, cleaning, and walking the friendliest, cutest dogs. Working hours are respected, and Anouk's positive, open, and caring personality makes the whole environment uplifting. The house is beautiful with plenty of space to work and relax, and the train station just 5 km away gives easy access to amazing cities. I highly recommend this place! Thank you so much! <3

I couldn't put in words the pleasure I get from having spend the past five weeks in Anouk's house with her beautiful family. From day one, everyone and everything is set to make you feel at home. The tasks are simple and flexible and Anouk has a very friendly vibe. Always in a good mood, always respectful and generous. Starting now I'm much more interested in having family house's experiences, so I leave here inspired and truly happy to have met these guys along my journey. Impeccable. Thank's Anouk, Maarteen, Nina, Chet and Miles for having me and I hope to see you all again.
