I had a great time at Nao's! She has an amazing story to tell, and it really gives meaning to the work you do. Contributing to the school (from building to teaching etc.) is definitely fulfilling. The food served by Nao's parents was really good, and there was plenty of variation! The flexibility to work when suited you was really nice. We did lots of jobs helping around the farm and learnt lots, like building and repairing with local materials.

James could be expert on tidying. He could manage to tidying our common kitchen in a second by taking everything out and manage things really unnessary for real. He is very fast and clever learner and worker. He could be very independent and creative to take on any project he take on and done it quickly. I like also he managed to have his own time to excercies run in the forest or chill in hamock, even he came as couple. He did not like Surprise BD but we all managed to gave him BD surprised many times with Farmade Banacake as well.

It was great! Nao is a lovely woman, her English is great and volunteering was a pleasure. I was there for 2 weeks and I: taught English in a local school twice, built a bamboo fence, hosted pizza night, learnt traditional Thai ways to plaster and repaint things such as her pizza oven and one of her dogs homes (essentially learned many new skills) There are lots of hammocks so you can relax on the hours you're not working and she has some adorable dogs on site too. Her mum and dad cook every meal themselves, it's great food, big portions, and you get to try many new things.

Olivia has a great laugh on things. She has very light heart and easy to be around. She could try hard for any task she got assign or volunteer to do. It was nice to see her enjoying cross out the task here on the board and start the new one. She was enjoy to learn to plant tomatoes, paint the new pizza oven, plaster the Dog home. And also made pizza for all of us on Friday night. It was nice to have her laugh around for 2 weeks here.

Nao and her family do an amazing job of making you feel at home. Living quarters are comfy and the food is incredible. You are guaranteed to eat well here! It's an amazing opportunity to give back and make a lasting impact for the local community, I really enjoyed getting to know the other volunteers here as well. I highly recommend and will likely visit again.

As my first time with Worldpackers, as well as my first trip outside of the U.S. this was a great experience. I was looking for a local feel, out in the country, to really be encompassed in the Thai lifestyle while making a positive impact in the community, and that's exactly what I found at Nao's Filmfarmschool. It was a warm welcome to a great group of volunteers, as well as a family setting. Nao was very accommodating in every aspect, and her mother makes great food for every meal! I volunteered as a carpenter and have no complaints about the work. 10/10 would recommend/ volunteer again.

If you're looking for a place to really connect with local families and also help support the future learning of the children, this is absolutely the place for you. Being with Nao and her family was such an amazing experience. From trips to the closest town to experience the market, to just being out in nature relaxing on the hammock. You will be not only well fed but well nourished mentally. The food that her mom makes will be the best food you've had in Thailand. There are lots of opportunities for you to contribute. Building, gardening, teaching, planning. Recommend 100%
