I had a great time at Sun Moon Lake! The hostel is beautiful, the beds are super comfy, and Nanou and Lena are very welcoming. The work is straightforward hostel tasks, and you get plenty of free time in the afternoons and evenings. The only small thing I'd mention is that family dinner isn't always provided, and it wasn't totally clear beforehand. Also, having a bit more variety in the food options for volunteers (beyond vegetables and carbs) would make the experience even better. Overall, a lovely place to volunteer and visit.

I was very lucky to meet people like them in my journey The work is very easy and Nanou does everything to make your life easy and nice The vibe of the hostel is incredible. Very peaceful and chill, the food is good, the lake is beautiful and you have lots to do near the hostel Thank you for accepting me at the hostel. I had an awesome time at the hostel Nomad Hostel ! I loved working with the team and learned a lot about hostel management. I also a lot of lovely guests and got to improve my english chatting with them. Nanou and Lena are very welcoming and accommodating. I felt like I was part of the family. I hope i can come back as a volunteer.

I had an amazing time volunteering here! Nanou and Lena are so welcoming and kind, and I felt at home right away. The work is straightforward and gives you plenty of time to explore the lake and surrounding areas. My favorite part was chatting with guests on the rooftop (such a cozy spot to hangout) I highly recommend this position to anyone who likes meeting new people and wants to spend some relaxing time in nature!

I will genuinely miss my time at the hostel. The hostel is small but comfortable. Especially the common area on the rooftop is the perfect place to spend your evenings and meet new people. Lena , Nanou and the whole family are all incredible people and will make you feel at home immediately. There's not much to do around sun moon lake but still you'll never be bored. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature , or hikes , or bike rides. I will especially miss the home cooked meals every night- perfect for people who have been traveling a while and miss home.

I had a great time volunteering at the hostel! Nanou and Lena made me feel at home right away, and the family dinners were truly a highlight! The work is fair, organised, and easy to do, and after you finish, you have the entire day to explore the lake/area and try all the bubble tea you want, and of course- chill on the rooftop! It is such a nice place to just sit and talk with the guests (it is a very social hostel). I will say that a couple of times there would be no dinner given, but on those days we would try the restaurants around the area. Overall, definitely recommend!

The hostel is on my top list for hostels now. It is a calm, relaxing, but also social in the right level, perfect to interact with other travelers when you are up to that. Tasks were ok to do, staff nice and friendly, and there was lots of nature around to explore. The highlight of my stay was for sure the dinners with the Taiwanese family, with delicious food every day and immersion in local culture.

I had an amazing experience volunteering at Dreamy Nomads hostel! Nanou, Lena and their family will make you feel at home and will tell you some much about Taiwanese culture and (amazing) food.
The work environment was friendly and respectful; and the tasks were well-organised. The hostel has a beautiful rooftop, which feels like a little peaceful haven, perfect for relaxing and connecting with the guests.

My time at the hostel with Nanou, Lena, and their family was so wonderful! They are a very generous family and made me feel welcomed and comfortable immediately. Nanou organizes the day's tasks in a way that's very straightforward, and it was especially helpful the first few days to have a document that lists out responsibilities. It's also great that all the workers help each other out and will lend a hand if you're behind. Nanou and Lena definitely built a really great community and hostel environment and it was such a joy meeting and working with them!

I had a really nice and cozy stay. The days were quiet and the surroundings were beautiful. Nanu and Lena and the rest of the family are incredibly nice people who want you to have a good time and naturally invite you into their home and culture. I had a lot of good laughs and met a lot of guests. I had one of my best volunteer work experiences here. thank you
