It was an amazing experience. Leslie and Amanda are kind, committed and respectful people, and it was a real pleasure working with them. The work is hard, but it's not difficult, and you get to learn a lot along the way. The accommodation is great, comfortable and cosy. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend it.

I had the most amazing experience the TePopo the guest house. Amanda and Les were so kind to me and I will never forget how welcoming and supportive they were during my stay. The working hours are exactly as stated, so you always know what to expect and there are no surprises when it comes to expectations. I really enjoyed all of the work I did here, the guest house are beautiful and the accommodations are cozy and feel more like a home than most hotels or hostels. 10/10 would recommend, this is definitely a place that will stay in my heart for the rest of my life ❤️

The hosts are the most caring and welcoming humans you could meet in the Taranaki region. the guest house is an amazing place, ridiculously beautiful and peaceful.
