The Experience
Hawaiian vacation while you help take care of our kid. We are looking for energetic volunteer to help with our one year old son, whose world is full of curiosities and constant motion. In exchage, we will provide you a lodging that is located in our tropical fruits orchard. The cain is 100% solar powered and it uses rain as the water source. It is perfect for eco minded traveler(s). Ideally this position will be a four 5 hour shift a week.

I had a amazing time at the Farm! It was my first Worldpackers experience and such a success. Ziggy and Kiko are very friendly and kind people and we created the best memories together. It is a big fruit farm with a lot of animals on it. I slept in a cute cabin and the family provided me everything what I needed. The kids are super sweet and super kind. I enjoyed the time on the farm soo much and I'm looking forward to come back!

It has been a great experience in the farm. Ziggy is very patient on training me farming work that I had no knowledge about. He always made sure I was ok with the assigned jobs. He would show me cool stuff in Hilo every time he got a chance to. Living in an off grid cabin was an amazing experience. I recommend people who want to find peace and learn about fruit farming to be here. Ziggy and Keko have been such a kind and great host. Thank you very much for the experiences. Mahalo.

My time with Ziggy and his family on the farm was incredible! The work was enjoyable - I felt like I got to learn a lot and felt like I was valued. Ziggy is very accommodating and intentional about making the experience enjoyable. He is great about making sure the hours and work is fair. The cabin where I stayed was amazing! It had everything I could need and was so peaceful. The family is a joy to be around- I miss hanging with the little ones! I am already excited for the day I get to make it back here!

Ziggy and Kiko were amazing hosts and are great people! They are very knowledgeable about the land and Hawai'i, I was learning something new everyday:)) The location is a bit rural so sometimes transport can be hard but Ziggy is super accommodating! They always invited me on family outings which was lots of fun. Also, the workers cabin is awesome and it's very peaceful. They truly care and want to make this a special experience, and it was!
