My stay at the hostel in Akita was wonderful! The team is made up of lovely people who looked after me and made me feel at home from day one. I had a private room, and the building also has a spacious coworking office and a café serving delicious drinks! The tasks are easy, and working hours are always respected. The team is very kind and they're always happy to help with any questions. I'm very grateful to have connected with such amazing people, practised Japanese, and discovered Akita and its beautiful surroundings (the nature is absolutely amazing!) I highly recommend this experience! 💖

My time in the hostel in Akita has been superb and delighting!😊 Workload is pretty fair and the location is very wide, welcoming and with diverse areas including a nice café and a comfy workstation. The opportunity to practice Japanese also doesn't lack as it's very local, and all the team can speak English too so it makes it open to.any type of traveller 😁 I've extended my stay for a few more weeks when I'm writing this review, I guess I love this place so I most likely recommend it! ☺️

My time in Akita has been truly wonderful. I spent the first few days in the hostel, and afterwards I was able to move into a shared apartment with some of the staff members. Everyone at the hostel Complex is incredibly friendly and welcoming. There's a café on the first floor, which is a great place to relax on days off or after work. Working hours are well respected, and the variety of different room types makes the work feel more diverse. I would recommend everyone to come to Akita.

The work at the hostel is fair and simple, never exceeding 4h a day. I had my own room, but also a common space with mountain view and a lovely café to spend my time at. Akita, a prefecture not yet known to most tourists, offers a great opportunity to connect with locals and to experience authentic Japanese lifestyle while living in the middle of stunningly beautiful nature. In my time in Akita, I could make so many unique experiences exceeding this review's word limit. All that was thanks to the kind and warm-hearted people in the hostel team, who made me feel welcomed from the first day

A truly wonderful place for meeting locals and if you want to learn Japanese. The team was welcoming and lovely to work with. They are super supportive. The work is easy enough to do and can generally be done quicker then the allocated time. The hostel is a little quite, but it still new and becoming more know. But with their bar and cafe on the first floor, there is plenty of opportunities to meet locals and talk to people. It was easy to make friends with the staff, as they do group dinners and events. I'm truly going to miss everyone there, hanging out together and chatting the nights away.
