The Experience
Daily tasks ● Greet the guests and manage the food orders and record it ● Help our staff to clear away guests’ plates and glasses when they have finished ● Tell the kitchen staff food orders and make any tea or coffee order ● Check in guests and introduce the general information, promote tours and service etc. ● Help guests with whatever they need ● Follow up with the guest activities to make sure everything is ok

What an experience 🤍 I had a wonderful time at the home for 2 weeks. They are all extremely generous, humble, and so kind! The place is very quiet and beautiful, the animals are super sweet, the food is delicious and diverse! After 2 weeks it feels like I'm being part of the family, it's a very special feeling! If you're looking for a easy and nice job with amazing people in a great island this is the place for you!

The home was my first volunteer experience and I couldn't be more grateful for having chosen this place. Lan and Hue were always helpful, offering options for things, places and whatever I needed. The work is simple and fun, since you are constantly in contact with travelers. There are many things to do on the island and with the motorbike (which they provide) it is much easier, the food is absolutely delicious. The room is shared but in my case I had it just for myself :) My experience was nicer than I imagined so yes, I recommend it.

It was the best volunteer experience of my life! I would return to CatBa the home a thousand times over; they are like family to me now ! Lan and his family were incredibly generous, kind, and took care of me every single day. They hold a very special place in my heart.❤️ The food is delicious, and the rooms are amazing. The work is very easy, and you have the chance to meet many new friends. CatBa is a beautiful island with a lot of nature. I miss them so much and hope to see them again soon. Thank you so much for everything!❤️

My time in the home was unforgettable! I loved every minute. Lan, Hue and their staff are wonderful people and make you feel like part of the family. The children are really sweet and entertaining. The homestay is really relaxing and peaceful, you stay in a dorm so it's good to meet other travellers. You eat with the family so it's a great opportunity to try loads of different Vietnamese dishes, the fruit was amazing. The work is not difficult and you get time during the day or evening to explore the island and take part in activities. I would highly recommend this place!

The best volunteering experience in all of Vietnam. I am completely grateful, I would even return another time. The family is very happy and loving. From the first day I arrived they made me feel very comfortable, they were very clear and helped me. I leave feeling part of the family. We shared many experiences together and, in addition, we lived the Typhoon experience.Lan and Hue make a great team, along with their staff. The tasks are clear, the place is beautiful in the mountains. The food is delicious. Being able to use the motorcycle to get to know the island is a great advantage.100%yes
