Here at our centre we do things as one, team work is dream work and we stand by that. Your day to day tasks could involve animal care, gardening, painting and construction. I had a wonderful stay helping care for the animals here. My days involved feeding and looking after parrots, a wallaby, an owl, chickens and more, and every morning felt peaceful and meaningful. The host was welcoming, clear about the tasks, and respectful of my time and space. I learned a lot about animal care and felt like part of the team. If you love animals and are ready for hands-on, early-morning work, I highly recommend this experience. Thank you for having me!

Amazing place and such a welcoming staff—I felt at home really fast. Work hours are fairly respected. It's a really convenient location within walking distance of a supermarket, and you can take the bikes for a ride to the nearest beach.

I really loved this experience and would absolutely recommend. Sam and his family are welcoming and so nice to all of us which makes it even more lovely. There are many things to do in the area and its really easy to get anywhere. Our job was mainly working with animals, cleaning and painting and workhours were respected.

This experience is highly recommendable. I learned something new almost every day at work. Even though I didn't have much experience, Sam was aware of that and explained everything clearly. He also gave me tips, tricks, and advice whenever I tried something new for the first time. The work hours were respected. The whole team and family were super friendly and you could ask them for help as well. A big home. Outside of work I quickly became friends with the other volunteers and we spend a lot of time together, there are many activities you can do in the area. I had a great time!
