The Experience

I started a few years ago building a house using bio-construction. This project is being resumed after a pause, and I need help to continue with this experiment. My aim is to maximize the use of reused materials throughout the farm's structures, not only to reduce waste but also to save money. Enjoy: horseback riding, a dip in the river, the garden, the trails, teaching and learning.

Claudinha is amazing, a true host; she is super easy to communicate with, the tasks and schedules were always respected; she takes care of you with all her love and yes she spoils you haha; she goes to town, always bringing something for the volunteer, and without a doubt she is the queen in the kitchen; you leave there but overweight, haha; I highly recommend getting to know the farm, being able to ride a horse with Gil; every day I went to the lake to watch the sunset; the farm is a place of great peace.

My first volunteering was at the farm and it was an incredible and enriching experience. Ms. Cláudia is incredibly intelligent, very communicative and welcomed me warmly from day one! She is always willing to teach, share her knowledge and always concerned about well-being. I helped her with the small project to increase the space for the cats and the dog, reusing resources that we would usually discard, always with creativity and thrift.

My experience on the farm was brief, but meaningful. The host Claudinha was always very helpful and receptive; we exchanged good ideas. I would have liked to practice bio construction, but various factors made that impossible. The environment is pleasant and the animals - the kittens and the little dog - are good companions. We were very well received and I can only be grateful.

The place is simple and close to nature. Claudinha is a very kind person, we were treated very well and given clear guidance on the tasks, with the option to choose what we felt most connected with. The house still needs several repairs, so I recommend the experience for anyone who wants to roll up their sleeves and spend some time in the countryside.

I had a really great experience. Claudinha and Nil are very nice people; we talked a lot and I was treated very well. Claudinha entrusted the house and the cats to me for a few days when she needed to be away, and during that period she left me feeling completely at ease. I felt at home; the tasks were clear, straightforward and easy to carry out. She is a very caring and environmentally responsible person. I was able to discover a skill I didn't even know I possessed, and I built a small wall with bottles. It was flexible; she provided all meals and was always concerned about my well-being. I enjoyed the experience.
