The guest house is really quiet and welcoming place. My tasks were really easy and the team that work there is full of friendly local people. I would really love to comeback.

Had a great time here! Along with other volunteers every (work) day we took care of 10 horses and took them out for rides. We had lots of freedom in what we wanted to do. The rest of the day is free to do whatever you want. There are enough other workers for you to help where needed, but you do have to reach out yourself if you need something. They were nice, but I was mainly in contact with the other volunteers. The horses can be a bit spicy, so experience and confidence are needed. We made a 'horse cheat sheet' so you know in advance how to handle the horses. Would recommend, it's so pretty!

I 100% recommend volunteering at the guest house. It's just beautiful, the horses are mostly very sweet and amazing to get to know - as well as the cowboys! The horses definitely have some spice, but the other volunteers and I wrote up a “cheat sheet” of how to handle them, so if you end up going, keep an eye out! For me, the biggest challenge was making food in the restaurant kitchen. We tried to go in when it wasn't busy but the kitchen workers (understandably) got frustrated by us being around and making mistakes - kitchen instructions weren't always clear. Otherwise, an incredible experience.

My stay at the guest house was excellent, and I would return without hesitation. The natural setting is stunning and deeply peaceful. What made it truly special, however, was the people. My host, María, and the entire team were incredibly kind, supportive, and passionate about creating a warm community. They made me feel welcome from the start. It was the perfect balance of meaningful work and time to explore the beautiful surroundings. This was an authentic, enriching experience I highly recommend.

I had a wonderful time at the guest house with the other volunteers, the horses and the lovely staff! After a bit of a rough start, we got to know the horses better and were able to ride in the jungle most days! We were also welcomed in the kitchen and bakery to help where possible and cook for ourselves. Overall a very wholesome experience.
