The Experience

We are looking for creative people with eye for detail, a decent level of fitness and without a fear of heights, as we need help building our first treehouse. aside from the treehouse we have also begun weaving nets between the trees for people to play around in, and would love to teach you this skill so you can help us grow them.

Daan was very welcoming and sociable. We had serveral interesting convos and fun game sessions. I especially appreciated that he was checking in to make sure I was having a good time and was willing to adjust some things if needed. When I was staying there, it was a bit more quiet, so your experience might look a bit different depending how busy the hostal is. In any case, the nature is absolutely breathtaking and I think it's great what Daan is building. So long as you're comfortable with remoteness, wilderness and a more basic and natural way of living, I think you'll have a great time.

The experience was exactly what I expected work wise : I had full liberty of what I could provide and we set a 2 months program for the social medias, which is nice ! We discovered the vegan lifestyle and are still applying it to this day, Dazn was really welcoming (and understanding 😉), I would recommend if you want to disconnect, meet new people and learn new things !

My experience at the hostelwas positive. I took care of the kitchen and meals for volunteers and guests, I had fun and nothing is missing in the kitchen. Cats and dogs are lovely, there are many animals and birds around, that you can observe. I spent my time in good company, playing cards with the guys, and enjoying the river nearby. Great place to reset mind and body. Thank you Daan for everything and for teaching me how to make your excellent seitan and babaganoush ❤️
