The Experience
Tortuguero es un lugar maravilloso rodeado de una densa selva y una gran biodiversidad en su flora y fauna como de una comunidad con mas de 2000 habitantes y en crecimiento, cuenta con un gran cultura afrodescendiente llena de cultura y historia, por lo tanto nos vemos en la necesidad de crear espacios importantes como la Casa De La Cultura, estamos con la necesidad de manos voluntarias para iniciar nuestra construcción.

The work with the children was fun and nice but the communication was simply sloppy. He never really let us know when we were doing what and how and the accommodation was not the one in the pictures. He also only spoke Spanish and no English.

Rodrigo y Adriana hacen una labor exquisita para la comunidad de Tortuguero y para Costa Rica. Además han sido como dos hermanos mayores que me han llevado de la mano en esta experiencia y me lo han hecho todo extremadamente fácil. Yo, personalmente, pude participar dando talleres de técnica vocal y composición para los niños de la escuela de música y no se puede describir con palabras todo lo que me llevo de semejante experiencia. Aporté una gota de agua y se me entregó el océano entero. Me llevo una experiencia inolvidable, el alma llena de amor y amigos para toda la vida.

La casa fue mi primer voluntariado y la verdad que no tengo palabras para agradecer la forma en que me hicieron pasar, me integraron rápidamente y me sentí parte de su familia. Rodrigo y Nanis son dos personas geniales que buscan desde el primer momento hacerte sentir cómodo. El equipo integrado por Fabián, Arturo y Cris es buenisimo. Volvería siempre a este voluntariado!

La experiencia en la casa fue excepcional. Supero mis expectativas. Rodrigo y Adriana nos cuidan y brindan todo para pasar una estadía maravillosa. Mi trabajo que estuvo relacionado con el proyecto de la creación de la Casa de la Cultura de Tortuguero me posibilitó conocer la realidad del lugar con detenimiento. Gracias Gracias y hasta siempre!

Rodrigo, Adriana y Patrícia son personas maravillosas. Todos me recibieron calurosamente y pude aprender mucho sobre ellos mientras trabajaba. Tortuguero es un lugar encantador, lleno de naturaleza salvaje y paisajes impresionantes. Mi primera experiencia de voluntariado fue espectacular y la recomiendo mucho, no solo por la hospitalidad excepcional, sino también por los increíbles tours que ofrece.
