Per week
We charge US$300 per week. During April and July/August, we offer a discounted rate of US$150 per week for volunteers who commit to a minimum of 3 weeks during our Children’s Holiday Camps. Your contribution helps cover accommodation, utilities, meals, local transport, activity materials, and programme coordination, supporting the safe and consistent running of our children’s programmes. Flights and travel insurance are not included.

A family-run youth project on the island of Grenada. We help provide the youth of Grenada with strong foundations for their future. We run activities all year round and welcome extra support to help keep these programmes running. We offer an after-school programme during term time and holiday camps when school is out. At Christmas, we also host a much-loved Santa’s Grotto, which families from the community enjoy attending.

It was a wonderful experience 😍 Thank you to Linda and Rae for their hospitality and trust; communication was very smooth. The volunteer house is spacious and clean, and I had a private room. As for the meals, everything was perfect. I recommend this place 100%. A chance to connect and discover new things is guaranteed.

Overall I enjoyed my stay. Accommodation is large and nice; as a vegan, groceries were bought for me and I cooked. Their work and mission are admirable and important, I just wish I could have helped more and made a difference. Often there was little to do, especially week 1 alone, and after the 2nd volunteer left most activities were cancelled, sometimes at the very last minute. When she was there, we did lots: island tour (self-paid), preschool, animal shelter, after-school club. A clear plan for quiet periods would help. Thanks for your kindness! Recommendable, but come during the busy time.

The summer camp was enjoyable, and we completed a variety of tasks. However, I was expecting to be doing other work besides the summer camp, e.g. culinary work in the restaurant, etc. Also, the website said we'd eat out in the restaurant, but we got groceries instead. I was expecting more excursions to be organised for us, but we didn't do many. I also left early and was unable to get any form of refund. The trip was fun, and I'm glad I did it; I'd have just appreciated some more transparency or perhaps clearer communication.

Aaron helped with Summer Camp, including field trips. We facilitated a waterfall trip and arranged an island tour with a local guide. Groceries were provided. Our website was regrettably outdated about the restaurant welcome meal; it had been rented out due to financial hardship, so his meal was provided at Container Park. Aaron chose to leave early to stay with family. As EG was still able to fulfil his placement, a refund for his voluntary early departure was not considered appropriate.

I had an amazing time volunteering at Elvira's the project in Grenada. I LOVED working with the children, and i miss them everyday. Getting to know them was definitely the highlight of my entire trip. The entire team at Elvira's the project was so amazing and welcoming, special thanks to Kiera and Rae for being my side the entire trip. The entire team treated me like family. Grenada was my first ever trip internationally alone, and it was definitely the perfect place for me to be. All the people are incredibly kind and the culture is beautiful. I love it there and cannot wait to visit!!

Had a great time with Elvira's the project!! Felt welcomed and part of the family from the beginning. They went out of their way to accommodate my goals, needs, and adjusted the scheduling to accommodate all of the different cultural activities i wanted to attend!! Highly recommend this program!! Great people, worthy cause, a beautiful home stay and country!!
