Staying with the hostel in Mexico City was truly a remarkable experience! Would definitely recommend. I was on activities to begin with, which I really enjoyed! I loved getting to know the guests and staff everyday. The kitchen staff speak only Spanish, so I found it tricky to begin with to communicate with them; However, we did our best with google translate and they even taught me some Spanish! Part way through my role changed to serving breakfast, then to working in the bar. I didn't mind this as I'm pretty flexible! But it could be something to expect if you volunteer.

I loved volunteering at the hostel Oaxaca, everyone I met was so kind and it's just a vibe overall. Oaxaca is a great city, with lots to do around it. Many day trips and exploring the town never gets boring. the hostel was super clean, respected hours of work and I can't stress enough how kind everyone was. 10/10 Would do again, and totally recommend

I stayed five weeks in the hostel Miami and it was AMAZING! I was mostly helping with the activities and at the front desk, the tasks were super easy (and often even fun) and the staff was 10/10. I got the chance to meet people coming from all around the world, I made lots of new friends, I felt appreciated and loved, that's why I would 100% recommend this experience. My 4/5 is cause there was actually no kitchen but just a microwave, a fridge and some shelves where you could storage your food and no yoga or dance classes as well as no free hiking tours LOL.

I volunteered at the Sayulita location working reception, and overall it was a good experience. The work was very doable, but the long night shifts were very tiring. My co-workers were very kind, and there was enough flexibility in the schedule. The hostel itself is good, has great facilities and is very social, which could make it hard at times to find moments of quiet. At times, organisation and communication seemed quite disorganized and I had to figure some things out on my own. Despite these challenges, I am grafeful for the experience!

Overall I had an extremely positive experience at the hostel! the people here are amazing and I actually loved the role I ended up in. It was very suited to my personality. That being said, there are a few areas of improvement I can point out. The main one being organization. I only spoke once with the hostel manager, Enrique, and it was because I sought him out. Without the structure given at the beginning of the stay, there were many details that got missed- ie. How to receive food, when my schedule would start, etc. secondly, I was the only in the staff room, which is not the one pictured.
