I stayed with a family for a month and it was a very good experience. From the beginning I felt comfortable and at home in that mountain house. Sofi, Teresa and Alice are very friendly, they are patient and I really enjoyed talking with them. The kids are very cute and Dinho (the other volunteer) is very kind and it was great to spend time with him. I also worked a bit in the restaurant and I learned a lot about vegetarian cooking (many very delicious dishes!). If you want to live the Spanish life, improve your Spanish, and meet very interesting people, I recommend this place!

My second volunteering experience, at Sofia and Teresa's house, was simply sensational. I truly felt part of the family. I lived incredible moments where I felt welcomed, protected, and I learned things I never imagined I would learn. It is near the sea and the town center. Moreover, the surroundings are wonderful: you are in the mountains, surrounded by nature, which allows you to disconnect and reconnect with yourself. I was lucky to share volunteering experiences with Brasil Landson and Rafael; Alex from Mexico; Olivia and Talila from France; Ezequiel from Argentina. And Divina, with whom I lived here in town.

I stayed for about 15 days with Sofía, and from the first moment I felt at home. I had to take care of Sofía's children, who are adorable. The mountain is beautiful, the bar's food is delicious, the beach, and the family make it a wonderful experience. Sofía is a great host and there was always clear communication. Dinho is also an incredible person and always willing to help you. The mountain is about 40 minutes from the town on foot; Sofía will always be willing to take you down to town if her schedule allows, but sometimes you'll have to walk down yourself, which can be tiring.

It was, without a doubt, the best experience I have had as a volunteer. From the first day.
Teresa and Sofía welcomed me and the whole family with open arms, with a lot of affection, respect and patience. Since it was my first experience, they helped me a lot, took care of me, guided me and taught me many things I didn't know. Thanks to them I learned not only new tasks, but also values, culture and ways of seeing life. I felt part of the family, always supported, listened to and valued. The atmosphere was incredible, full of good energy, learning and beautiful moments that I will carry with me.

It's an experience unlike any other. It's up on the mountain, and we have access to bicycles both to go sightseeing and, at times, to put in the effort at the various places Teresa requires. There were schedules to be rearranged due to overload on some days, balancing hours and changes whether it was in the afternoon or in the morning. My flexibility and adaptability helped me to meet each activity. For meals, I recommend giving notice of shortages since it is an exchange. Mostly I spent time working the land with Sofia, a great host, attentive to making sure the volunteers are at ease. Grateful for everything!

This has been a wonderful experience. Both Teresa and Sofi have always been very kind, respectful and attentive to me. The place is perfect for those who want to disconnect in the tranquility of nature, without disturbances but at the same time close to the village in case you need to make any personal purchases or explore the surroundings. A good place to have an active experience with tasks to stay physically strong. Very grateful, I highly recommend the place!
