Volunteer in Nepal is one of the wonderful ways to travel and donate your time. You will stay in the local Nepali community. and will welcome you to teach English to the children. Volunteers do not need teaching qualifications to partake in this program, just a passion for children and having fun! Children enjoy new experiences as much as we. So, anything you can bring from home to shoe them how your life works and culture differs is beneficial.Learn more

I had an interesting stay at Sultana. Be prepared to be picked up by motorbike. The owners were not there for a few days and the people in the house didn't speak English. Luckily there were 4 other volunteers there who explained things to me. We attended a wedding for 2 days. I stayed one week and did one afternoon's work. However, this isn't "environmental volunteering" e.g. tree planting as was shown in the photos but helping to harvest coriander. Nice area, nice house, but a bit misleading. No yoga or lunch as stated. Quite expensive.
