Cassia is a wonderful host, flexible and attentive, every week she schedules the shifts, tasks and days off so that no one gets overwhelmed and to enjoy Maceió! The location of the hostel is very good, everything is nearby and easy access to the places! It was great to volunteer at Beach Pajuçara!

My experience as a volunteer at Sertão hostel, in Maceió, was very positive. I was well received by the staff and I was able to carry out my tasks in an organized and calm manner. The environment is pleasant, clean and provides a great structure for both volunteers and guests.

My experience with Cassia and Fábio as hosts was great.
Both are very nice people and the tasks are simple (both welcoming guests and cleaning); they respect the schedules and are always available to answer questions, whether about volunteering or about the city.
I recommend it to anyone who wants to get to know Maceió in a good location.

My experience was totally satisfying, starting with the fact that I had a health problem with the air conditioning in the room I would sleep in, and Sandra kindly allowed me to sleep in another room by myself (sometimes a guest or another arrived), which helped a lot in my recovery. The tasks are easy to fulfill. Sandra and her husband were always friendly with me when they appeared at the hostel and also promoted programs in the city. I could enjoy a lot of Maceió and several beaches due to the layover, which I, personally, found excellent. In other words, just gratitude for the 15 days!
