Luis was a very gracious host who made my stay very comfortable. He was flexible with my travel plans and offered to take the guests out for food and a day trip. I felt safe and comfortable in my room and had no problem using the shared bathroom and kitchen. I highly recommend staying at the guest house if you are visiting Puebla!

This was my first Worldpacker experience. Luis and Dulce are very kind and welcoming. My main responsibility was online English classes every weekday late afternoon with his nieces and nephews. I created my own lesson plans and presentations bc I have a background in language education. But if you don't, Luis gives you access to an online book to use with them.
The house has a bright living room and a spacious private bedroom with your own bathroom (this was a big draw for me). Within a 1 minute walk there's a bodega and a laundromat. Everyone who lives in the house is really nice.

Luis and Dulce were wonderful hosts. The work commitment was minimal, and it was specific to the skills and experience that I brought. I helped teach Luis' nieces and nephews English via Google Meet. We did classes several times a week, I helped prepare materials, and I also helped out with general maintenance and cleaning at the house. Overall it was a very reasonable amount of work for staying in such a nice place. I also went with them on a day trip to Chignahuapan and Zacatlán which was so fun!

Luiz and Dulce are exceptionally warm and welcoming! Their sunny, spacious home sits in a friendly, safe neighborhood. This remains my best volunteering experience—having a private room, sharing Chinese lessons, making mooncakes, and exploring local churches and culture with them. Highly recommended for visitors to Mexico, especially freelancers. With their rich background in travel and remote work, Luiz and Dulce offer a perfect space for inspiring conversations.

I absolutely recommend this experience! Dulce and Luis went above and beyond as hosts by showing me the local culture and cuisine, as well as beautiful hiking spots. The accommodations were excellent, and I felt safe in the home/ neighborhood. Cholula and Puebla are amazing places to explore, full of historical architecture and art. I really treasure the time I spent at the guest house :)
