John is an absolute legend of a human. I had the pleasure of staying in his beautiful home with the best vibe. I helped out in his restaurant and my hours were respected. Everyone at the restaurant were amazing and I had the best time helping out! John has been amazing to me since day 1 and I can happily say I made a good friend for life. He's super hospitable and ensures you're happy and comfortable throughout the stay! Thank you for showing me some amazing places and for the many jokes :))

My stay here was truly special. John is one of the kindest, most thoughtful people I have met in this life. Spending time with them felt like I was visiting dear old friends, even night one. I feel very lucky to have met them.
Their home is precious, full of character & the most beautiful windows! There are many breathtaking hikes & restaurants within 10 minutes. I originally came to help in the garden, but the rain had left the yard like a marsh so I actually helped John at his restaurant since I had experience. I loved it, though future Worldpackers can probably expect to help at the house.

I had a great time staying at John's place in the home! The house is beautiful and cozy and the location is great. A really nice place to relax after exploring the Blue Mountains. John is a really warm and kind person, always happy to recommend great spots, answer any questions, or just have a good conversation :) The work was easy and fair. Definitely recommend staying here!

I loved staying at John's place! He is the nicest man you will ever meet and we had so much fun hanging out with him! 🤩 He gave us great recommendations of things to do in the area and was so generous! When I got sick during our stay, he made sure that I was well and that I had everything I needed.☺️ Even though he couldn't find much for us to do for work, I enjoyed the work we did. We mostly cleaned.👍 Thank you so much again John and hopefully I'll see you in Sweden soon!🇸🇪
