My experience at the guest house was wonderful; throughout my entire stay, I truly felt right at home. Chie and Roy are extremely kind and warm. There is a full day of induction where they explain all your responsibilities in detail. The schedule is very flexible, giving me plenty of time to explore Kyoto at a relaxed pace. Additionally, the hostel is very cozy and clean. The tasks are simple, but it is important to carry them out with care and attention to detail. I highly recommend this place!

Volunteering at the guest house was such a great experience, I enjoyed every minute of my stay. Chie and Roy are wonderful hosts, super supportive and friendly!! The workload was very fair as well as the working hours so there's plenty of free time to explore Kyoto. Facilities at the guest house are super cute, it literally felt like a second home. Biiig recommendation :)

I loved my stay at the guest house and had an amazing first volunteering experience! Regarding the work, everything was really well explained and I never had to work overtime and often finished early. You usually get several days off a week which gives you a lot of time to explore Kyoto. I also had a great experience with the guests and the other volunteers and learned a lot about housekeeping. Chie and Roy are both kind, attentive and really welcoming. Even after staying for almost 2 months I wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you for everything!

I had a really nice experience during my stay. Chie was very kind, and I had the opportunity to experience Japanese culture in a more local and personal way. I'm very grateful to have met new people and learned so much. One small thing to mention is that the bicycles included were not in good condition, so I couldn't use them during my stay, even though I was told they would be fixed. However, there is the option to rent one if needed. Overall, I appreciate the experience and would definitely do it again. Thank you very much for everything.

It was my first abroad volunteering experience and it couldn't have been better! Chie is so nice and the place to stay is so cozy and beautiful. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who is interested in local culture, as Chie offers different activities to participate from, like calligraphy and tea ceremony.
I got to know so many people, other staff members and guests, everyone was very friendly and polite. I had the best time❤️
