If you like to cook and be in a restaurant environment, this is the experience for you. The restaurant is located in the centro historic neighborhood of Lima and it feels very local. There's a lot of restaurants and sites around. The room I stayed in was part of the restaurant and it had everything I needed. The work hours were very reasonable and manageable. Enrique is very flexible and easy to work with. He communicates very well and fast. The whole team at this restaurant is like one big family and I feel that I have made some great local friends. I would definitely recommend!

We had a good time in El Gran Bitute! It's trully a family atmosphere, we've been able to learn a lot about Peruvian culture and food. Work can be demanding but we managed to find our place in the kitchen and help as we could (we're not cooks). The integration can be complicated with no spanish notions though. Some troubles with the shower and the hot water but Enrique helped us as he could. Also, there is a lot of improvement work on going and we're sure it will get better and better. Thanks for this experience, we will sure come to say hello when we come back to Lima! Muchas gracias:) !!

Mi experiencia fue muy buena en el hostal, el chef Enrique es una gran persona, estuvo atento de cualquier requerimiento, es importante que para realizar este voluntariado se tenga conocimientos en el área de cocina porque ahi se realizan todas las actividades, en ocasiones es pesado, pero sin duda la pasé muy bien una mención especial al chef Abel, Marco y Yulinho excelentes personas me enseñaron muchísimo en cuanto a gastronomía peruana son personas muy amables e hicieron que mi voluntariado haya sido genial, la habitación es bastante cómoda y el baño aveces era un poco incómodo.
