The experience was incredible, I felt really greatful for staying at such beautiful place with nature and with a lot of culture. At first you may think is a small town but you can da lot around it. The work is not so hard and the host is super nice and welcoming, but you have your own space and timing. I would go again. I recommend doing a day trip to kofu. (Keep in mind, is a small town and activities are a bit limited )

Satoshi and his family were over the top kind and welcoming. Their homes are stunning. I loved helping prep their field to become rice paddies. They're flexible and understanding. If you're looking for a quiet place to explore independently, this is the spot for you! I hope to come back :)

This was a great experience. Satoshi and his family are excellent hosts. They're both extremely kind and accommodating. If you're looking for a quiet time with yourself, this opportunity is perfect. I spent the last week of my 2 month long trip here, and it was a perfect change of pace, where the amount of work per day was minimal and well communicated, and free time was plentiful. If you're into the outdoors and sports you will likely enjoy your stay. Take advantage of the bike which Satoshi offers you for free, there's plenty to see and do if you take the time to explore.
