It was an awesome experience and stay. Vincent and Judith are very welcoming and open hearted. The place is wonderful, the views of the mountains are breathtaking. We would suggest this stay to others!

The home is a quiet, special gem at the foot of the Alps. Hosts Vincent and Judith are very welcoming, open and inviting you into the experience of managing a unique retreat center as part of a small team -- helping in the kitchen, preparing meals, cleaning the villa for retreat guests. The work is clearly assigned and explained to each volunteer. Vincent and Judith are extremely patient, encouraging interesting conversations over delicious vegetarian meals. Volunteers enjoy private rooms, fun movie nights and beautiful walks in nature. I was so sorry to have to leave early.

Villa d’Arzelier became my second home for a month and a half, and the connection that I had with the place and the people were something I will never forget. The atmosphere is incredible and the rooms are super comfy. I would totally love to come back 🥰. The food was also amazing thanks to the chef Cornelia ☺️. Judith and Vincent were super kind hosts, and I had the amazing opportunity to practice my french and see the most amazing natural views of my life. I also met incredible volunteers that made my stay super fun. I'm very grateful for everything I was able to live here 🥰

Villa d’Arzelier was a beautiful and calm place to stay. Sometimes the working hours were a lot but other times it was very quiet and chill. The area is beautiful and the food is outstanding. The hosts, employees, and guests are all very nice and respectful. I had a fantastic time.

This was my first time as a Worldpacker, and I couldn't have hoped for a better experience! Vincent and Judith(and the chef Cornelia) immediately made me feel comfortable. The only downside is that it is far from a bus stop and that the hours are often spread over the day, but for me it wasn't a problem since I came to relax and persue personal interests such as running, reading and practicing French<33 I was also lucky that the other volunteers was incredible people and really good at French, merci pour tout!
