PLEASE JUST APPLY for We are paragliding couple living in the stunning Soča Valley, next to the river at the foothills of the Julian Alps. This area is perfect for paragliding, hiking, climbing, and kayaking. I'm an artist and designer by trade, started out as a furniture maker, then moving into boat building and classic car restoration. I've also managed a record label and toured with several bands. I arrived at Andrew's place late in the season, just as he was preparing to close up for the winter. Despite the timing, we managed to shoot two videos, and Andrew gave me an unforgettable introduction to paragliding, which has me hooked now! We even took a day trip to Italy for a flying adventure. :) In my spare time, I enjoyed exploring the beautiful area. There are so many fun things to do nearby! Andrew is a funny, down-to-earth guy, and it was great meeting the other volunteers as well, in that incredibly welcoming environment. Overall, an amazing experience!

I had an amazing time volunteering at the home with Andrew. He's a fantastic host who made me feel at home from day one, easing all my first-time volunteering nerves. The place is in a stunning location surrounded by beautiful mountains, rivers, and waterfalls: perfect for those who love exploring the beauty of nature. I spent a week there, and it flew by so quick with a great balance of cooking, exploring, and enjoying nature. Andrew's hospitality, the meaningful work, and the chance to connect with such a beautiful environment made this an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it!

The area is stunning and perfect for exploring, with breathtaking beauty all around. I really liked the tasks Andrew assigned to me, and the food we cooked together was amazing. Volunteering with Andrew and his family through Worldpackers was an experience I will never forget. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with such warmth and generosity. Andrew, his partner, and their little son Frederik made me feel like part of the family from day one. Frederik, especially, was an absolute joy to be around. I had a fantastic time staying at Andrews place for a few weeks. He is a great host. Funny and cool guy, easy and fun to work with, and creates a very chill atmosphere that you feel at home in immediately. He works with everyone and makes it fun, never goes over hours. I made some great friendships the other volunteers and with all the free time we really got to experience so much of what Slovenia has to offer. I couldn't recommend this experience enough. I would 100% return and if you are looking to connect with nature, make some meaningful connections and just relax, look no further!
