Spending the week with Yuli was genuinely amazing while her and her community helped me learn the language and viewing the day to day life of an Indonesian with amazing people and comfort the entire time. I couldn't ask for anything more and I definitely recommend anyone to visit Yuli and her school sometime.

Edwin is really a nice person. He is talented and very helpful. He loves to learn new things especially the local food. He also loves to share the knowledge he has with everybody. I do hope that he will come back next time soon.

This was honestly one of the best volunteering experiences I've ever had. Everyone here welcomed me with so much kindness and made me feel like part of the family from the very beginning.

They are humble, generous, and caring people. They always made sure I had good food and even took me to visit local places and experience the culture. I also absolutely loved my host's family—they are wonderful, friendly, and always willing to help.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. 10/10, I highly recommend this host to anyone looking for a genuine cultural exchange!

This was my first volunteering experience, and I can honestly say that it was an incredible start. The host family and everyone around me were amazingly kind, genuine, and fun to be with. I had the opportunity to visit many interesting places and gained valuable experience interacting with children. Since I arrived during the school holidays, we didn't teach them every day, but there were still plenty of other activities to keep us busy and make the experience enjoyable. I'm really appreciate to Yuli, her family, and volunteers who were with me, for this war and fascinating experience!

The experience we have with Sasha was definitely incredible. I was so greatfull to host her in the village. Her kindness and strength inspires me a lot. Her life experience was also totally different and it moved everybody. I would be very happy if I could have time to host her again next time.

The time there was a really cool experience. Everyone welcomed you really warmly and were very hospitable, even outside the family. However, you have to get used to the fact that sometimes you are looked at like an alien and pictures of you are taken all the time, but people are very happy about it
Unfortunately, it was just "school holidays", which is why I was only really in class once. That's why I just sat around a lot, but that also feels pretty good. It's just slow living there.
Would definitely do it again. Also because of the things I was allowed to experience there and the people

From the moment I arrived I was immediately welcomed by Yuli, her family and another volunteer. They truly make you feel like family. This was a true local experience and I learned so much about the people of Bondowoso and even did some tours. Yuli took me to the school she teaches at, I got to meet her students and some other teachers. We even would da language exchange so I also learned some Javanese and the local language Madurese too! This has been such an enriching experience even in the short time I was there. I highly recommend and hope to come back someday.
