I had a great time living with Sushmita and her family, I felt very welcomed, ate great food and they helped me whenever I needed. The kids were super sweet and excited about the volunteers. The kids come after school and do homework and play, so you have the whole day to explore Pokhara which was really nice. I had a great time and would recommend for people who want to experience a Nepali home ❤️

From the moment i arrived sushmita didi and her husband made me feel safe, welcomed and cared for. They cooked me most delicious homemade meals everyday. They are like another family to me now and not a host. If you are looking for a luxury stay this may feel different because it is a local family home but if you truly want to experience local life, connect with people, staying here is absolutely worth it. Miss sushmita is so selfless and works so hard to support the children. I came to Nepal hoping for an adventure but I left with with something more valuable a second family and ofc memories.

I had a great time volunteering here,it was definitely one of the moments that will stay in my heart. The host family is so kind and attentive, they take good care of me so I really appreciate it.The most amazing part of this volunteering is to meet and get to know all those lovely kids.I had a lot of fun helping them with homework, playing and dancing.I really recommend it if you are someone who is willing to immerse yourself in local cultures and make a good impact for the community.Again I feel grateful for all the love and care from the kids and the host family, thank you :)

This will be like a second family. I miss the kids sooo much! Thisis a palace you will take with you in your heart forever. Sometimes it feels like there isn't alot for you to do, but the kids just really appriciate you beeing there regardless. It will be hard to say goodbye.

Wholesome experience and opportunity to be part of the family at the project center. Was humbled by the efforts of older children taking on responsibilities and being of mentors to the little ones. My inner child refreshed with opportunities to exchange and take part in non-screen games, creative activities and overall exchange of conversations with all children at the center. I spent a month with the project, overall felt way shorter. There's plenty to help with, studying, diy stuff around the center and conversations about values and ethics. Grateful for opportunity to contribute 🙏
