This was my first volunteering experience, and it was great! I had a really good time, even during the low season. The agreed schedule is respected, and there’s also room for flexibility. I 100% recommend volunteering here!
If you enjoy being around lots of people, consider coming during the high season. There are also lovely places to explore nearby, especially if you enjoy snorkeling or diving, and of course it is great for surfers.
They also have the sweetest cat, Chapita, who will make your stay even better!

The most gorgeous hostel I've ever stayed at, it felt like I was at a retreat. It met amazing people and the volunteer requirements were very chilled, was meant to stay 1 month and extended to 2. Highly recommend!

From the moment I arrived in the hostel I felt like it was home. Amazing people, the hostel is one of my favourites and the location is amazing (small little town, by the beach but you can find everything u need very easily). The work is easy and enjoyable, and u still have plenty of time to explore the area. The month flew by so fast, if I had more time available I would have extended my time for sure! Love the hostel and everyone I met there!

My experience at the hostel exceeded my expectations in many ways. I started my volunteering with a commitment of 1 month that easily turned into 2, then 3 because of how awesome and special this place and people are. They usually have 4 volunteers at a time, we shared a room and quickly we became like family. The hosts are incredible people, friendly, respectful, flexible and ready to help whenever is needed. The work schedule is fair and as agreed beforehand, with more than enough time to relax and enjoy the beautiful coast of Ecuador. I highly recommend this experience!!!
