No, you don't have to be awake all night ;) In this position, you work three to four days a week (one week three, other week four). You are responsible for keeping the hostel clean and quiet during the night. You help closing up our bar, check if the hostel is clean and neat, go to sleep (private room when you work) and help out our bar in the morning starting up for our hostel guests.

My experience at the hostel was great. Staff at the hostel & restaurant were kind and welcoming from the first day. Other volunteers were also nice and it was so fun to meet them all. I totally recommend this experience, you will meet amazing people and explore a beautiful city.

I absolutely loved my stay! Everyone at both the hostel and Bennies was amazing, welcoming, and always willing to help. I really appreciated how spacious the volunteer room was, and the food at Bennies was delicious. Whenever I had any problems or needed help with something, they always did their best to find a solution and make sure I was okay. I'm truly grateful for all their support and kindness. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone considering volunteering or staying there. Thank you all for making my stay so special! ❤️

I had the most wonderful stay here in September!! From day one, the staff and the other volunteers made me feel so welcome and appreciated.
I worked the night shifts, and I would say that the tasks were quite easy to complete. If I had any questions, there was always someone ready to help me.
My experience in Zwolle has also been great. There is always something going on in the city, so you do not have to travel far to immerse yourself in the culture.
The overall atmosphere and the people I met here were genuinely amazing, so I would definitely recommend this opportunity to others!!
