A truly magical experience. From day one they made me feel like part of the family and always cared about my well-being. Living with them gave me the chance to experience authentic Australian family life surrounded by nature and peace. Jack and Kate are wonderful, kind and inspiring people. The caravan is cozy and comfortable, and they even helped with transport—Jack drove me to my 3 a.m. airport transfer. I left with a full heart and highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable stay

A wonderful month! If you want to feel at home, this is it. Nature lovers will love this forest setting. The caravan is cozy, and you can use the living room during the day. Note: if you hate bugs, this might be tough. Tasks (cleaning/cooking) are reasonable with plenty of free time. Jack and his family are incredibly supportive with grocery trips and transport. Meals are self-catered, but you can use their seasonings, and they often invite you to join them for dinner. They welcomed me as family, inviting me to parties and trips. They were patient with my English. I love this family so much!

My stay with the Vanley family was very enjoyable. You sleep in a caravan, the first nights take some getting used to, but it becomes cozy. The family often offered us meals, and it was never a problem to go to the supermarket for our own food. The tasks were fair. I found deep cleaning wasn't really for me, but there are other tasks if you ask Jack. The free time was great. There's a river on the property where we swam often and tried surfing. You can also get a ride into town if needed. I would recommend staying there if you don't mind getting your hands dirty.

Me and my boyfriend had a great stay at the Vaney family's home. It was an adventurous experience living in a caravan in the jungle. Although it rained almost every day, we had much fun! We all played in the creek almost every day and rafted down the river with their airtrack, an unforgettable experience. Your tasks are mostly to clean the kitchen, which you definitely have to be tough with, but the tasks vary. Also Jack and Kate always want to make you feel comfortable, we felt very welcomed!

The family was so lovely and social, the kids were complete angels. If you're looking for a space outside the city, this is your place!

Hi Hannah,
I just wanted to touch base and get some feedback as Worldpackers is considering closing our account due to the 3 star reviews Tessa and yourself gave us. I cannot see the ratings on our side of the website,
Your comments are very positive and you seemed like you had a good time. I would love some feedback as to why you gave us three stars and if you know that doing so could get us banned form the platform? ( not that is your fault, I am just wandering if you knew this?)
Thanks
