This volunteering experience was great! I created content for the hotel for two weeks, the resort is beautiful and they let me create the content I wanted so I was able to explote my creativity and i loved it! Just one thing to mention: I had a problem in my room but they fixed the situation as soon as I told them :)

I absolutely loved teaching yoga at the hotel. They gave me a lovely little private room with an ensuite aswell as 2 meals a day. Personally, i loved the food as it was truly a local experience. However, for some it might be quite spicy! Overall great communication and friendly staff.

My experience in Southern the hotel Resort was awesome. The host was very open to new ideas for social media and let us be creative for the bar and resort social media. We had to create reels and posts on daily basis and was really fun and chill. The meals were amazing and the staff was also very welcoming. Couldn't recommend more this place!

The place is truly beautiful and very relaxing to stay at. Unfortunately, I suffered from a severe case of food poisoning and ended up feeling sick for most of my stay, which significantly affected my experience. I would recommend visiting during the high season, as we traveled during the low season and most places in Koh Lanta were closed, making the island feel quite quiet and lacking in activities. I would also advise guests to be careful with the food provided, as food poisoning can quickly ruin what should be an enjoyable trip.
