I came with two of my friends for a week and we had a great time!! The farm is very remote and out there so it was the perfect time to chill and spend some good time outside. Service was pretty spotty so I would bring a book or some art projects. Alfredo was so welcoming! We had a great time laughing and playing music with him. We also had a lot of great Spanish speaking time. Paloma the horse is the best and is worth the time to bond with. The property is beautifulll and great for some long walks. It's very peaceful and quiet. And you can see incredible stars. Also we cooked such good food!

The bathroom situation is a little crazy but you get used to it. Just take it out right after you use it. You'll often have to cook for yourself. Also, the only real way to leave is by Alfredo's truck. He says if you try to walk down the driveway to the Main Street where the only bus will pick you up, that the neighbors dogs will get you. In spite of this it was a good experience, he has done a lot of impressive stuff on his farm and if you're interested in building a homestead of sorts he is a treasure trove of information. He's also a guitar master, check him out on bandcamp.

Zack podrías haber empezado al revés, fue una buena experiencia, aprendí a hacer pan, conocí cómo funciona la energía solar, el anfitrión cocinó varias veces, el alimento fue sano y abundante, tomé buen vino, las tareas fueron leves y divertidas, aprendí sobre caballos, el anfitrión me llevó en su camioneta al pueblo... pero estuve incómodo con el baño (en esta zona de poca agua usar baño seco y generar tierra a partir de nuestros residuos es muy conveniente) y la finca está aislada. Un abrazo

Un proyecto fascinante, con una visión hermosa que vale la pena conocer y apoyar. Aún tiene mucho por desarrollar y hay distintas maneras de colaborar. Cada aporte, idea o conocimiento es bien recibido por el anfitrión, haciendo de la experiencia un intercambio enriquecedor. El lugar es hermoso, rodeado de naturaleza. La falta de electricidad invita a bajar el ritmo y reconectar con las cosas simples y esenciales de la vida, que tantas veces dejamos de ver y valorar. ¡Recomiendo vivir esta experiencia que te recuerda lo verdaderamente importante y ser parte de este hermoso proyecto!

Maravillosa experiencia ✨️. Alfredo está comprometido con la ecología y sostenibilidad, es una excelente oportunidad de aprender y aportar conocimientos para el desarrollo del rancho. Muy lindo escuchar la naturaleza y observar sus detalles. Me encantaría volver y ver como ha mejorado el proyecto. Super recomendado y mucha suerte a los próximos voluntarios 💪❤️
