I would like to thank Darren for his warm welcome, his willingness to share his knowledge, and the time he dedicates to making sure everything runs smoothly throughout the stay. The location is simply stunning, surrounded by the ocean, mountains, and rivers. There are countless activities to enjoy, including hiking, kayaking, fishing, swimming, and much more.
These 11 weeks allowed me to reconnect with myself, slow down, and step away from a consumer-driven lifestyle while still enjoying a comfortable daily life. It was a truly enriching human experience that I would highly recommend to anyone

Tahsis was an incredible place to spend a month! Darren is a welcoming host with lots of knowledge to share. It was a lovely environment, sharing meals with everyone and hiking/kayaking in our free time. You won't regret meeting Tia and Myra, the sweetest dogs ever!

Location .. Views .. Oh la .. Super ! Chances to see whales (in the right season) ! Remote, quiet place. Met other volunteers. Darren is a good guy, explains, helps. Many different projects, possible to choose. People come here and end up staying for months
