I really really enjoyed my 3 weeks at the guest house, justin is one of the coolest guys i ever met in my life and is very communicative. During the stay he made sure i was feeling great comfortable. I am missing that place already. 100% recommend

I spent 2 weeks in Avellanas. The location is beautiful and the home is amazing. The room is spacious with your own bathroom which is really nice! The beach is beautiful. I did surfing and went to a Spanish class at the local Spanish school which was amazing. I would recommend going to Tamarindo during your stay to other travellers as there is not lots to do in Avellanas and it can feel isolating. The work is very light and it was a pleasure to stay here :))

Thanks Justin for the warm welcome. The work environment was quite peaceful. If you enjoy quiet, this place is fantastic. I felt comfortable and free to do what I wanted between the few hours of work a week !

I stayed a few days at Justin’s hotel it was really nice the work hours really chill. He has an adorable two year old son. You can go surfing, swimming in the pool he has a bike you can use. I really recommend this place if you want to relax, connect with nature go to the beach. You will probably be the only volunteer there as Justin just needs one at the time but the hotel guests are nice. I went surfing with a group of Germans that where staying at the hotel.
