The host is an amazing place with welcoming people and beautiful nature. Eliza and Erick are enthusiastic about their program and are always looking for ways to improve. During my time here, I was fully involved in the local community. The work was rewarding and what I expected. Bahia Drake is beautiful and I hope to be back soon. I highly recommend this for solo and duo travelers alike.

I had a wonderful experience with Eliza and Erik. Although my Spanish wasn't great, I felt welcome and safe with them. Plus, as a result my Spanish improved a lot in such a short time. It was a little difficult to communicate at first but they speak slow help you improve. A really cool part of the experience was being taken to celebrations and events of their friends and family and through this the other volunteers and I made friends with locals. I wasn't expecting this and it really added to my experience.

I'd recommend this volunteer opportunity to anyone hoping to gain a local perspective of Costa Rica. The work is educational on farm life. You will get the chance to try many different delicious fruits at dinner! Definitely one of the highlights for me. We also got the chance to make chocolate from scratch which was very wonderful.

I absolutely recommend volunteering with the farm. It is a true, authentic Costa Rican experience, and Eli and Eric are wonderful hosts who will make you feel like family. You are surrounded by nature that you would not be able to experience otherwise, and the beach is just a short walk away. It is the perfect opportunity to live in nature, eat good food, work on a farm, and experience Costa Rican life. Eli taught me how to make chocolate and tortillas, and Eric took our group on a hike through the jungle! I am very grateful for this experience, and I hope to return someday❤️Pura Vida!
