The hostel is one of those places that is so much more than a hostel. ❤️ I came here expecting to enjoy my stay, and I left feeling like I had found a home in Las Terrenas. From the very first day, I felt incredibly welcome. Chinola and Ronald are simply wonderful people. They have this rare ability to make you feel comfortable, cared for and completely at ease. I genuinely fell in love with them ❤️ There is something very special about the atmosphere here. It's warm, relaxed, authentic and full of life. You arrive as a volunteer and somehow, little by little, you become part of the place.

I volunteered at this hostel for 2 months, and honestly, it was one of the best volonteering experience so far! The place is incredibly organized, the team is attentive, and the atmosphere is just amazing, it truly feels like family. The hostel has such a great vibe that I didn't want to leave. Chinola, the owner, genuinely cares about how you feel, and I've never felt so welcome and comfortable in a hostel before. The city itself is fantastic too, with so much to see and do! I can't recommend this place enough. it's perfect for anyone looking for a friendly, fun, and caring environment.

It was an incredible xperience that I will always remember with great affection. Chinola and Ronald are wonderful people extremely welcoming and they made me feel at home from the very first moment. Chinola takes care of the administrative and organizational side, and she does it really well: in an intelligent, accurate way, always accommodating any needs that may come up. Ronald is in charge of maintenance; he’s super friendly and helps keep the hostel vibes high. With the other volunteers, I built some truly beautiful friendships, thx for everything ❤️❤️

The hostel became so much more than just a place to stay. It truly became my second home. During this month, I lived one of the best experiences of my life. I met amazing people who became real friends and I'll carry them in my heart forever. I'll always be deeply grateful to the owners Chinola and Ronald for welcoming me with so much respect, love, and support every single day. Leaving Las Terrenas is hard, but I know a part of me will always stay here. This place and its people will forever be in my most beautiful memories. Thank you for everything, the hostel! You changed me in the best way

This was my first ever time doing a volunteer program and this was genuinely an exceptional start! Chinola & Ronald really make the hostel feel like you are living at home away from home. The environment is very relaxing and not stressful. Las Terrenas is also such a beautiful and homey town tucked away in Samana. The central location of the hostel also allows it to be very easy to walk to nearby stores and restaurants. All in all 10/10 experience! Please check them out!
