Great place! Easy-going, simple and chill. A lot of free time when the few tasks are done. Breakfast is provided. Big staircase to reach the hostel but the view is nice. Murilo is kind and very cool, it's easy to share your concerns. He is not very reactive on Worldpackers, but he communicates via Whatsapp. Be aware that the location on Google maps is not accurate! When you reach Arraial do Cabo, you should ask for 17 Rua Santa Cruz.

Murilo and his family are very welcoming. At the Vista Mar hostel you will spend your days with people as if they were a family, a positive experience of togetherness. I highly recommend volunteering. Despite the stairs to reach the place, the view is totally worth it.

Murilo is always in a good mood with everyone; he and his family are excellent hosts, and they make very good churrascos.
The view of the hostel is very relaxing; you can't stop looking, literally!!
The schedules are good and respected!
The tasks are very easygoing! Take out the trash and run errands. Help is available with what is needed.

The experience was 10/10 ✨ The vibe is like being at home, very family-like and lots of cool people with whom we exchange stories, experiences and very good moments. As for the tasks, the agreed schedule is respected and the tasks are always carried out in a very relaxed way. Murilo is a 10/10 host, super sociable. Always with ideas to share tasty dinners for everyone. An experience I would recommend in this paradise in Brazil 💯

In this hostel I felt like I was at home in Brazil; Murilo and his family are very good people, and the place is very quiet. The view is gorgeous (that's why you have to climb so many stairs; it's worth it).
The tasks are well distributed among the volunteers and they are not heavy.
It's what you would normally do at home… the days and times are respected.
