The Experience

I need help with the construction of the Oroboros house. The activities include constructing with different earth techniques (adobe, wattle and daub, cob), finishing (plaster and painting), final earth floor, built-in furniture, lighting and plumbing. The activities will have my supervision and support. In addition to the work itself, there are always tasks of organizing materials, maintaining the spaces, small crops, gardening, cooking, cleaning, and helping to create harmony.

My experience at the camping was wonderful; the connection with the surrounding nature is incredible. Paula is a luminous being; her patience in conveying her wisdom was incredible and I learned a lot about bioconstruction and more. I recommend this experience to those who enjoy connecting with nature and people and who want to roll up their sleeves in this amazing bioconstruction project.

Paulinha welcomed us with open arms into her home, a beautiful place where she is building a fantastic house. We learned a lot from her; she is a great teacher and communicates with a lot of clarity. The exchange of experiences was truly wonderful. We learned, had fun, explored the region, did bioconstruction, and felt very comfortable the whole time. It was very hard to leave to continue our journey.

My experience there ended up being average; I actually managed to work with bioconstruction for only about 3 days, and I felt I learned little in relation to the amount of knowledge available. I tried many times for a larger exchange, but I didn't feel any openness. I am very grateful for the space and the opportunity; it encouraged me to seek even more.

Vitória, I appreciate your criticisms and sincerity. It isn’t always possible to meet expectations. Usually people stay at my house longer, and the period of your stay was also disrupted by the challenge of balancing it with work away. I tried to make up for it by inviting you to come to work with me, so you could have an experience with tadelakt, as well as teaching and supervising the making of cob. I will take your criticisms and suggestions into account, and I appreciate your collaboration.
