I had a great time staying at the farm. The host and other staff members were very welcoming and easy to make friends with. The small town and community they've created is what really shaped the experience for me. It's rural, simple living. The nearest "big" towns and beach are a short bus ride away. I would recommend to anyone looking to slow down, disconnect, and wants a real change of pace.

We went to the farm together with my friend and it was our first experience with Worldpackers. We have met amazing volunteers here and we enjoyed the time so much! The accomodation was OK, but it wouldn't be bad to improve some things. For example the shower had broken door and it wasn't possible to really control temperature of water. Also the water from tap wasn't drinkable and tournedned off at night. We worked at the fields for 5 hours a day and get breakfast and dinner as agreed. Unfortunately we didn't always feel good around some employees and we had few arguments about work with them

Individualy everyone is great, caring, hardworking and knowledgeable. Eve and Carol is always there to answer any questions and resolve any problem the volunteer may have. I personally had a great experience with agriculture and the restaurant,if you're use to the tough love and hustle of a restaurant this is just another day but for others it could be too much. They're biggest problem is communication and that fact that they all tolerate each other with some animosity mixed in and it creates a bipolar admesphes that could get uncomfortable for some. Other than that the experience was good😊

We felt welcomed from the very beginning by the farm team. We're taking away great memories and great friends, and we're especially grateful to Matias, Eli, and Max. If you want to immerse yourself in the local culture, meet new people in a typical setting of Southern Italy, this is your opportunity! Plus, from Borgia, you can easily visit other towns or cities because everything is quite well-connected. The work itself is exactly as described, and the benefits were as agreed upon. We hope to come back someday!

A love full community held in a small town in south Italy. Felt like home from moment zero. the farm team works as a family, welcoming new members with arms wide open. Always showed openness to hearing opinions, willing to support, and eager to share experience. Flexible work-schedule, comfortable accommodation and great space for practicing Italian and Spanish. Locate in a small, slow paced town in Calabria, great for enjoying pace and tranquility.
