The Experience

We live in an isolated small holding in nature, surrounded by olive trees, walnuts, almonds, lots of fruit trees and woodland. There are various plots where we practice different natural agricultural methods, some raised beds with mulching, other areas using seed-balls and green manures.

I really appreciate how supportive Anthony and Sara were. This stay was my first experience as a volunteer, so it took me some time to adapt. It was very helpful that I tried different types of gardening tasks and had time with myself. Anthony and Sara are very heart-warming people, and they wanted to know how I feel during my stay, and they tried to help me every time, so I would like to thank them. In the first days, I had to get used to living in a tent and not having a typical toilet and shower, but the whole experience was enriching. When you want to meet yourself, this place is ideal!

Our experience with Anthony was very positive. He's a kind and welcoming person who makes an effort to connect and include you in his daily routine. We shared several meals, did some workouts and walks together, and he also gave us rides on our days off, which was really helpful. We helped him with filming and editing videos, and it was a good exchange overall. Anthony has his own way of seeing the world, and if you're open to it, you can have a different kind of experience and learn from his perspective.

We had a great experience with Anthony.
We produced several videos over two weeks and together we learned a lot about the work while enjoyed our days during this.
Anthony is a very good person and talking to him is like seeing the world from different perspectives, always very deep conversations. Sara his wife is also a very nice person to meet!
The accommodation/facilities are simple, so go open to immersing yourself in a different lifestyle and with lots of contact with nature!
Without a doubt, it was an experience that took us out of our comfort zone and taught us a lot

Anthony was a wonderful host, this was an absolutely phenomenal experience. The opportunity to be a part of the space he has cultivated, to be involved in nurturing various plants and in benefitting from the bounty of volunteers previous. He is a knowledgeable, genuine and welcoming soul, and I cannot recommend this experience enough - words cannot do it justice. Be prepared to step out of yourself a little, and with Anthony and other volunteers you will discover so much about yourself, nature and living holistically.
