We are Jolanda and Helmut, a retired couple and we live in the countryside among the vegetables, about 10 minutes away from the town Villena. We have a small, cozy home and a large piece of land. Due to our age and health, we need help with maintaining and designing the garden, minor repairs, construction work, and painting tasks. Considering the nature of the work we are looking for hard working volunteers, that like to get their hands dirty!

The home and the home are a lovely couple! The task are very fun, and the work hours were always respected. The container was cozy, the food that the home make was great, and there's a mountain near the house where you can go hiking. If you want to go to the city takes only about 15 minutes, Villena is a small but it has everything you need, including a beautiful castle. Tina the dog is very sweet and like to play a lot.the home always made sure I was having fun and enjoying my time in Villena. Thanks!

I had a really good experience with Yolanda and the home. They were always avaliable to drive me to town or to the train station which allowed me to visit a few places. The work schedule is always respected and the work itself can be tiring but its a good way to challenge yourself and learn new things. The conteiner where you sleep is simple but has everything you need, be aware you might run into a bug once or twice tho. I would recommed this experience :)

I had a wonderful and truly meaningful experience volunteering with Yolanda and Helmut. They are incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive hosts who made me feel completely at home throughout my stay. We made some great progress on projects around the house, especially with all the work in the garden, which was highly rewarding. They were also extremely accommodating and flexible, giving me the perfect balance of work and free time to explore the neighboring towns and hike the mountain. I highly recommend volunteering with them to anyone looking for a fantastic experience!
