I volunteered at the school for two weeks and had an amazing experience! The team is lovely and does their best to make you feel welcome and connect with the children. The children are amazing—full of energy, smiles, and laughter. If you don't speak French, communication can be difficult, as English is not widely spoken. You really get to experience local Malagasy life in a small “village in the jungle.” I made unforgettable memories and am very grateful to Aina, the whole team, and especially the amazing children!

Aina and her team were very welcoming, and she was always prompt in responding to inquiries and offering help. I mainly assisted the Grade 1–2 teacher, which was sometimes challenging, so experience with young children definitely helped. I also taught basic English to staff and older students, which was rewarding due to their eagerness to learn. I stayed in the volunteer pavilion with one or two others and explored nearby areas on weekends. A meaningful experience I'd recommend to anyone patient, creative, and full of love to give.

Aina and her team are great. Their job is an inspiration for the rest of us. They make you feel part of the family from the beguining till the last minute. I believe the the school is a place where any kind of help is always welcome. There are so many good things to do. I wish I could have stay longer. The children are incredible , full of energy and joy. They are very well educated and very kind to each other. Great job!!! Thank you very much for this opportunity!!!

Quelle bénédiction ça a été pour moi d'avoir été acceptée ici. En tant qu'enfant de la diaspora, j'étais à la quête de mes origines et pour moi ça a été la meilleur façon de découvrir ma culture. J'ai été accueillie ici les bras ouverts dès le premier instant. Chacun m'attendait, prêt à me serrer fort. Ici, tout n'est que partage, joie et amour. Les enfants sont tellement incroyables… leurs petits rires vont me manquer. Que de beaux moments passés avec eux et avec les maîtresses. Je suis tellement remplie de reconnaissance d'avoir pu vivre tout ça… quelle merveilleuse expérience humaine.

L'école est simplement incroyable, c'est une expérience qui vaut la peine d'être vécu, j'y ai rencontré des personnes que je n'oublierai jamais. Vous pourrez y rencontrer des enfants qui sont bienveillants, toujours dans l'entraide mais aussi autonome, ils aident à faire beaucoup de choses sans jamais se plaindre, mais ils sont aussi toujours près à s'amuser et apprendre de nouvelles choses. Cette expérience de volontariat est juste superbe, vous pourrez y découvrir la culture malgache, leur bonne ambiance et leurs musiques (zanaka Jean Paul). Merci à toute l'équipe du l'école !
