I had a great time at the hostel – Fumi san and Kei san were lovely hosts and everyone I was working with was wonderful.

I spent three lovely weeks at the hostel and it was probably my favorite Hostel Job in Japan. Work takes about 2 hours daily, is very straightforward and not too exhausting. Everyone in the team was super nice and the location is great (on the boarder of Asakusa, on of the coolest areas of the hostel in my opinion). The room is shared between 6 people (volunteers + paid staff) but you have a capsule bed with a door that can be fully closed for some quiet and privacy. I wish I could have stayed longer. ありがとうございます! Also thank you for letting me play your guitar Fumi! :)

Kai and Fumi were both very welcoming and always available for any questions. The work was very easy and well distributed everyone was assigned their own tasks so you can go at the speed you prefer. The sleeping arrangements is a dormitory just for the volunteers and a bathroom that is only shared with volunteers as well, kitchen is shared with the rest of the guests house. The only minus I can think of is that it's 1 day off per week which is not a lot but honestly it was not that bad. Overall would very much recommend staying at Guesthouse the hostel!

Great location in Asakusa, the work wasn't demanding, and the team was always available to answer any questions. I 100% recommend it if you want to travel with peace of mind!

Fumi San is so helpful and so kind. The tasks are very reasonable in return for living in such a popular part of the hostel. Many other volunteers said that this is by far their favourite volunteering experience in Japan. I hope to return one day!
