The Experience

At O.U.R. Ecovillage we provide volunteers with a positive, educational experience. OUR volunteer program seeks to build public awareness of the concept of sustainability and the Ecovillage movement. We are looking for good people in winter months to help with carpentry/woodworking/infrastructure repair, cleaning common areas, gardening in the greenhouses, working with animals, and, if you are long-term volunteer, to join to OUR admin team.

Sharing this space and time has been terrific. We found more than we expected. Brandy is an excellent hostess,so kind, frendly, hospitable and she was always worried about our well being. This spot is really georgeous, both the farm and its surroundings. Parks, lakes and forest make it so special. We deeply appreciate what we lived and shared with the eco village there two magical months. Learning and developing new skills getting to know a new culture & language. Thanks Brandy, and to all those who were part of this story to tell. "Ahó" for this beatiful meeting. love & blessings.

It as an amazing experience! In the little time I was there I learned so much, challenged myself, got out of confort zones and made wonderful friends. The residents at the eco village are all very welcoming and great teachers. There is a strong sense of community and helping each other which is beautiful. I am extremely grateful for all.

It is an incredible organization, with a great commitment to our planet and our society. Each member of the eco village was super attentive. The activities are simple although there is a lack of accompaniment from those who already know what must be done in order to be much more efficient in the collaboration with the organization. The landscapes are beautiful and you breathe a tranquility that in few places exists. Super recommended!
