I spent a month and a half volunteering at SYI and it was the most beautiful experience of my life. Helping and working with them is something indescribable, it truly fills your soul. I found wonderful people who welcomed me with love and amazing children who gave me smiles I will never forget. Infinite thanks to all the members of the association. A special thank you goes to Joan, for her fantastic cooking and for being a wonderful person with whom I built a truly special friendship. I recommend this experience to anyone. This was my first volunteering experience, and I truly couldn't have asked for a better one! Joshua, George, and Joane made everything easier and more meaningful with their kindness, care, and constant support. They were always checking on me and making sure I was safe and comfortable. The work they do through the association is truly wonderful, and you can feel the love, dedication, and strong sense of community behind it. I'm so grateful for this experience and will always remember it. ❤️

I had an amazing time volunteering in the slum and getting involved in activities with the children.
The organization is doing an amazing job in providing a safe, fun, and educational space for the kids. It was very enriching getting to know the community which welcomed us very warmly and to share my time and skills while learning so much from the people around me.
I always felt safe and respected; everyone was always ready to help when in need.
I highly recommend it and am very grateful for the memories and connections I made.❤️
