The Experience

We are a cosy hostel in the center of Granada city and we're looking for kind and welcoming people to socialize with our guests, doing cleaning shifts, cooking dinner, leading walking tours, and sometimes night shifts (21:00 to 01:00). We are always opened with new ideas for the hostel too :) It's not a party hostel, but social and comfy place to connect with people.

I volunteered at the hostel for 3 months and it was an unforgettable experience. The team is incredibly helpful, kind, warm, open and friendly – I felt welcomed from the very first day. Aurora, Juliana, Maria José and Carlos are amazing people and working with them was a real pleasure. They supported me not only at work but also in my everyday life and while learning Spanish. I truly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience something new, meet wonderful people and feel at home in Granada.

I appreciate the opportunity to volunteer here and loved Granada. The cleaning tasks were easy to manage once you understood the system, though the distribution of heavier tasks was not always evenly shared among volunteers. I also decided to leave earlier than planned due to a situation that made the environment uncomfortable for me. I communicated this respectfully , as having a supportive and well managed space is important in shared living environments. Overall, I believe clear communication and fair distribution of tasks are key to a smooth experience here. I wish the hostel the best.

There are volunteer experiences that stay in my heart like a home, but there are only a few where I can truly say I didn't want to leave and almost tied myself to a tree just to avoid saying goodbye. the hostel is my little corner of peace (three months of complete happiness with the city of Granada as the backdrop, one of the best cities I've ever discovered). The tasks are reasonable, the facilities are unbeatable, and the staff are more than just coworkers, they're friends I can't wait to see again. In short, a beautiful place!!!

Mi experiencia en el hostel ha sido inolvidable. El hostal hace varios eventos diferentes durante la semana. Los turnos eran según lo acordado. Gracias Aurora y Valentina por todo
