Despite the 2 star review, I enjoyed the farm by itself. I stayed for a little over 2 weeks and was mainly responsible for pulling gras out of the ground, and cutting bamboo/bananas. It's exhausting work but reasonable for farm work. Others, who stayed longer, had significantly more contact with animals. I stayed in both a shipping container (cyclone safe, not rain proof) and a room with a talking parrot. Both spaces were reasonably clean and insect-proof. My problem lay with the host who did not communicate clearly and never seemed to answer a concrete question.

Staying at this farm was unforgettable. Surrounded by nature, it's perfect for disconnecting and enjoying a peaceful environment. The variety of animals is fascinating, and tasks like caring for them and helping with cleaning offered valuable insights into rural life. The host was kind, and the shared experience with other volunteers was enriching. Though the farm is remote, it adds to the sense of adventure. Ideal for those seeking simplicity and a connection with nature.
