I had a great time volunteering at the Center, it was so peaceful and the nature is so beautiful, the water is clean enough to drink from the rivers, and there's lots of space to practice yoga and meditation. Maya and Oryon are super knowledgeable in alternative medicine and have a lot to share with guests :) This is a great place for anyone looking for a peaceful space to go to learn about themselves and find calm.

I was very well received by Maya and Oryon's family; they are people full of knowledge, artists and healers. The Center is a healing space with an intense and transformative energy. I recommend it for those who like to collaborate on daily tasks, cook, take care of the space and connect with different cultures. The accommodation is very comfortable and the nature is beautiful. Bring a jacket, insect repellent and clean footwear to wear inside the house if you don't want to stay barefoot, as it is not allowed to enter with the same as the street. Go with an open heart, this place embraces you and helps you align with your essence!

Maya replied

Thank you, dear Julia. We’ve truly been enjoying your giving and everything you bring to this place.
We know we need more people here, and you also know this space requires a lot of precision and the right kind of people. When the wrong person enters the environment, it can create a lot of chaos and disorder, both physically and energetically, especially in such a very precise spiritual work.

But don’t worry, we’re getting there.

Being here was a disruptive experience; there were so many things I could experience.

Being in touch with nature, being able to explore the trails and the waterfalls of this reserve, participate in the retreats, and living every day with this wonderful family from Israel, I got to know a lot about their culture and I liked everything.

It felt like taking an international trip without leaving Brazil.

Éden Reserve is a paradise! The structure is incredible, both the house where the retreats take place and the volunteers' house. We were very well served at all meals - Maya cooks very well and we had the opportunity to learn a lot in the kitchen with her, during the work at the retreats. There were some misunderstandings due to communication, but we understood that they were lessons for all of us who were living the experience. Éden is a space of healing that is very powerful and invites us to look deeply into several issues. Be open to working on what is needed - inside and out.

The accommodation is excellent and the center is a beautiful place. I loved the moments I volunteered with Maia and the children. However, it is a challenging place, it is not a typical volunteer experience. I would only recommend it for experienced volunteers.
