The guest house guesthouse was a lovely experience. Bizerte is a beautiful and vibrant small city with some of the loveliest people I've come across. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and the work was flexible and as agreed upon, which made everything much smoother. One of my personal highlights was heading to the farmers market to pick up fresh local produce to cook with the other volunteers and guests! If you're looking for a relaxed environment in an energetic port city and delicious food, I'd highly recommend! I will definitely be back! <3

My experience at Hotel Al Madina in Bizerte was very interesting and enriching. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with kindness and openness, which made me feel comfortable right away in a new environment. During my stay, I helped with different tasks around the hotel, working together with the staff and learning a bit about how the daily management of a hotel works. Bizerte is a really beautiful city, with its port, the guest house, and the sea making the stay even more enjoyable. In my free time I was able to explore the town and get to know the amazing local culture.

I had an amazing time volunteering at the guest house,Sabrina and her husband Mohammed welcomed me and made me feel at home immediately, and was very accommodating during my stay, always trying to adjust work schedules if I really wanted to do something. It really felt like a family environment, we ate together at dinner everyday and would go out at times when schedules aligned to cafes and on walks. As it was the winter season there were less activities in town, but I still loved it and found it an amazing time to experience the local life.
