Myself and my girlfriend had the most fantastic 2 weeks staying with the school and his family. They are the sweetest and most welcoming people we have met!! Haby's cooking was absolutely delicious and we were perpetually well-fed. The accomodation is simple but perfectly comfortable. We never had more than 3 hours of "work" in any given day, and the school was excited to show us around beautiful East the school when we were not in school. the school's students are also very welcoming and enthusiastic, we really enjoyed the opportunity to share some English with them. I would highly recommend this experience!

I had the opportunity to live with a local family and genuinely feel part of the community. A special thank you goes to the school and his family, who welcomed me with so much warmth and kindness and made me feel at home from the very beginning. the school was an amazing host. I love this experience, which is why I came back in 2026! I love this place, you get to experience real Indonesian life, learn the culture and give back. the school and his family are so kind. Also the food their mum serves is SO DELICIOUS. I was also lucky that the school would take me to visit waterfalls, beaches, etc. Teaching the local kids was rewarding, best to come with your own plan though you'll need to create the lessons yourself which is fine. It can be hard to be the only foreigner as locals look at you like you're an alien lol. Say yes to every opportunity to really make the most of it!

This experience was the hilight of my travel. I had an amazeing time, the school is the best host anyone could wish for. He took me to beautiful places every day and helped me in everything. I ate the best food with them and felt very welcomed in their eonderful family. The children is the schools are also kind and excited to learn. I will definately come back to the school as soon as possible. I really recommend this experience for everyone!!
